Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement — Human Factors & Anthropometric Library (2015)
IGOR developed a scalable anthropometric library for Pacific Island populations to support the human factors and ergonomic design of Australia’s Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement capability. The work combined anthropometric evidence, mathematical extrapolation and human factors analysis to ensure that vessels, controls, workspaces and accommodation could accommodate the substantial physical variability of their intended users.
Combat Body Armour — Human Factors & Ergonomic Review (2007)
IGOR worked with DSTO to review the human factors and ergonomic evidence relevant to combat body armour being considered under the Australian Army’s LAND 125 Soldier Enhancement Project. The work helped Defence understand how equipment design could affect soldier mobility, interaction and performance within the wider close-combat system.
LAND 125 Soldier Enhancement — Small Arms & Lethality Assessment (2010)
IGOR provided specialist weapon-systems expertise to DSTO in support of the Australian Army’s LAND 125 Soldier Enhancement Project. The work assessed small arms and lethality, drawing on deep knowledge of both previous and proposed weapon systems to inform future soldier capability development.
