Human Factors Risk Analysis

IGOR provides the advice and hands-on resources to enable Human Factors Risk Analysis in your organization.

IGOR Human Factors analysts understand how to analyse the Human Factors Integration issues or human capabilities and limitations issues that effect complex systems in order to optimise those systems.

Some of the components of typical analyses might include;

  • Manpower – the numbers of people required
  • Personnel – what are the required people characteristics such as physical capabilities,  aptitudes and abilities
  • Training – what system-specific training, standards, and characteristics are required
  • Human Factors Engineering – the integration of human capabilities and limitations into the system design process
  • System Safety – analysis of potential human-system error sources
  • Health Hazards – identifying and addressing operational conditions (e.g. vibration, fumes, noise etc.) that are hazardous to human performance and health
  • Organisation and Social – addressing complex organisational issues such as shared situational awareness, cultural issues, trust.

Our goal is to identify the issues that can enhance or reduce your system capability.  Significant cost benefits are available from such work.
